As one of the main graphitic core sources of molten iron, the role of recarburizers is often ignored. In fact, the addition of recarburizer is not just a recarburizer, but to increase the graphite core to obtain better matrix structure and mechanical properties. Not all carburizers can achieve this effect. The production of qualified recarburizers must go through strict material selection, and only reduce sulfur, gas (nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen), ash, volatile matter, moisture and other impurities after high-temperature graphitization treatment and then improve the  purity.

Only with graphitized recarburizers can carbon atoms melt rapidly in molten iron, and grow into graphite in the shape core produced by inoculation under the forced nuclear driving force when iron solidifies. If the selected recarburizer has not been subjected to high-temperature graphitization treatment, the graphitization driving ability of carbon atoms will be greatly reduced, and the graphitization ability will be weakened. Even if the same amount of carbon is achieved, the product quality will be completely different.
